Back in 2016, I the had the rare opportunity to visit the happiest country in the world with Klook for a project.
Bhutan is a place so heavily filled with culture and religion, and for me to experience and see their people’s way of life truly taught me that sometimes less, is more.
It wasn’t the places of interests or the marvellous views, or even the interesting food that made my visit a memorable one – instead it was the people and their hospitality towards us.
I truly felt a sense of genuineness and friendship in my short 2 weeks there. Our guides Tenzin, Jigme and Sonam has left the deepest impressions I have felt in the short time there.

Bhutan is truly a sacred place and I hope the people and tourists that visit keep it that way.
